I’m Mhari-Claire and I’m the co-founder of Sustainable Talent.
Having started in Recruitment as a rather green, un self aware 22 year old (nearly 15 years ago) it’s fair to say it’s been quite the journey.
There has been many lesson learnt along the way but the biggest one for me is the importance of genuine relationships.
People is at the heart of everything we do – whether it be delivering to a clients project needs, getting a candidate a new contract or how we manage our staff day to day.
As long as we always remember that first and foremost they are people and get to know their personal needs – this is KEY to their success and ours.
Although we’re recruiters, we’re quite simply in the people business. We work with a people-first approach, considering wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and creating fulfilment in the lives of those we meet.
We will work with companies to promote their roles, and find the right fit to fill them.
We will work with candidates to prepare them for the role and to ensure they are correct.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing a client secure a role and boost their new business.
I’m Chris and I’m also the co-founder of Sustainable Talent.
Having worked in recruitment for over 14 years it’s become very clear to me that my passion is partnering with customers to deliver their projects and advance within their industry.
I really enjoy meeting clients, getting involved with their mission critical work and getting amongst it on site.
Energy and Construction makes such a huge impact to society, I feel proud to be involved and I’m motivated to be part of the ongoing drive to reduce carbon emissions and make energy more sustainable.
We couldn’t claim to be a people centric business if we weren’t striving to make a positive difference to ours and our customers local communities.
Sadly millions of families are struggling with the cost of the weekly shop, and don’t know where the next meal is coming from.
We are very aware that we have privilege as do many of the customers we work with.
We want to make sure we are using that privilege to help others.
For every placement we make, we will ask the client and the candidate to recommend to us a local food bank or charity and we will do the rest.
